1. Resolution index: to meet the display effect under various long-distance or high ambient light conditions. The resolution of traditional LCD can only reach 1024 × 768. According to the actual test data, the resolution requirements of outdoor applications for display equipment should at least reach 1920 × 1200 can be displayed normally under the influence of sunlight. For LED advertising machines, “resolution” will not become a big problem for their application and popularization.
2. Waterproof and dustproof: to be used outdoors, waterproof and dustproof is the first thing to face. The protection grade of the display equipment casing must reach waterproof. Generally, the waterproof grade reaches ipx5 and can operate normally in heavy rain; Dust is an important factor to reduce commodity efficiency and accelerate commodity aging. Outdoor display equipment shall have specially designed dust-proof structure and dust-proof filter commodities, and the dust-proof grade shall reach IP65.
3. Intelligent constant temperature: when the outdoor advertising machine is running, there will be heat from three primary aspects: solar radiation, air convection and internal electronic component heating. According to the regional temperature difference and equipment placement orientation, the LCD advertising machine should have a temperature control scheme. Some are air-conditioning type heat dissipation, and some adopt forced air cooling type heat dissipation. However, regardless of the heat dissipation scheme, the commodity generally meets the operation requirements of temperature: – 30 ℃ – 55 ℃ and humidity: 10% – 90%.
4. Anti riot and anti-theft: outdoor display equipment is generally used in outdoor public places. Public safety and the safety of the equipment itself are issues to be considered in outdoor display. Generally, outdoor display equipment will use special toughened laminated glass. Even if the glass is damaged, it can only produce fine cracks similar to spider mesh, and its fragments are firmly adhered to the middle layer, It can avoid personal injury or property damage caused by glass falling. In addition, when facing the problem of anti-theft, we should avoid exposing the screws, and solve the problem of anti-theft by combining the lock with anti-theft function and solid structural support.
5. Lightning protection: in order to complete the all-weather outdoor broadcasting performance, the outdoor display equipment should also have reliable lightning protection electric control design to provide safety guarantee for the equipment in thunderstorm days.
6. Anti reflection: the display interface in outdoor environment is clear and visible, and anti reflection is also an important aspect to be considered. It is necessary to use glass with special coating treatment to improve the visual viewpoint and resolution of the picture and reduce the reflection of the screen.
7. Anti electromagnetic interference: the uncontrollability of the outdoor environment makes the anti electromagnetic interference function of outdoor display equipment very important. We can’t transform the outdoor environment, but we can adopt shielding methods for the internal electrical parts of the equipment, that is, effectively prevent the interference of internal devices and cables to signals, and prevent the interference of external electromagnetic to LED products.
